I ended up with both the iPad Pro 13 and iPad Air 13 for two different use cases. iPad Pro for video editing on the go and watching HDR content and for editing photos and thumbnails for my channel and the iPad Air with cellular for content consumption on the go and for my non creator stuff. I do find myself using the Air to respond to comments and emails and occasionally editing thumbnails, but since I went with the base model on both, I try to keep that stuff to the pro. The battery life on the Pro has been significantly better than the Air and the additional speakers are so much nicer to have on the Pro and FaceID vs the fingerprint reader could be something that makes the choice easy for some people. If you do a lot of authenticating, using banking apps and autofilling Passwords, FaceID is so much nicer to have. The OLED display and much brighter display is nice to have if you’re not always in a darker environment. I will say for most people the iPad Air will be what they need. The M2 is powerful and the display gets bright enough and 60hz doesn’t bother me as much as I thought it would and paired with something like the ESR Rebound keyboard case or Logitech Combo Touch, it reminds me of use the MacBook Air 13 when I had one of those, but with the addition of touch and pencil support and cellular option and being able to take the iPad without the keyboard to lose the weight of the keyboard and bring it closer to you so it feels like using a much bigger display. I am planning a video talking about both the Pro and Air and why I have both but who I think should buy the Air and who should buy the Pro.
The air is a great option - but I just LOVE the Oled on the pros. I tried getting the iPad mini 7 and hated the display. Returned it for the 11” iPad Pro.
Nice video keep up the great work Ivan Kam
